Say Good Bye to Rafe Media
Today is the end of Rafe Media as you know it. The body formerly known as Rafe Media ceases to exist as of today.
But before we get to why, let's start with what will happen now. Firstly, all of Rafe Media's content, including the website, media, and social media posts, has been archived and can be found here. Meaningful projects will still exist, and as of today, they will be run by me, Rafe Milner, under my name and brand, @milnerrafe.
So, why have we killed Rafe Media? Because there is no longer a use for the Rafe Media brand. Rafe Media was created to give credibility to our team's random work, but today, that same brand that brought credibility in earlier years now has no use and takes credit away from the amazing people at Rafe Media who make amazing things. These people will still be making amazing things under my own personal brand, @milnerrafe, and their brands under their names and pseudonyms. So, in summary, Rafe Media was a pseudonym for our great team's work, but today, we spread our wings and become our own to continue the mission of Rafe Media to "provide informational, informing, and fun media and other digital and physical experiences for everyone."
P.S. Rafe Media tools will still exist but now as @milnerrafe's Tools at tools.milnerrafe.com. Rafe Media may come back at a later date, and I will still be working with the former Rafe Media team and friends to make amazing things.
